After completing his undergraduate studies at Morehouse College, Jamal went on to Duke University to obtain his master’s degree in divinity. He pursued further education in Great Britain at Oxford University, where he graduated with a PhD from The Graduate Theological Foundation.
Dr. Karrianna “Karri” Turner graduated from Morris Brown College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. After that, she graduated with a Master of Divinity from Emory University’s Candler School of Theology. Her Instagram bio indicates that she has already obtained the degree, since she proudly identifies herself as a “Doctor” and a pastor, even though her website states that she is seeking a Doctorate in Ministry with a specialization in Leadership and Christian Renewal.
Following the announcement of their wedding, Jamal and Karri shared a number of memorable moments from the ceremony. Jamal said that he had once again found true love in an Instagram post. He said, “It feels like a fairytale and a dream that came true!”
